HOME MEET RESULTS
As our Home meet concluded our regular season, our varsity squads continued to show improvement. Jess McDonald, 3rd in the race, and Anna Keener both dropped their season best by 30 seconds and Anna has now qualified for Districts. On the boys side, running a full team, Michael Heistand continued to lead the boys this season with a 19:18. Andrew Reed, in only his 3rd race of the season, dropped over 1 minute from last week. We are looking to improve our performances at the League Championships next week. Good Luck to All.

The Junior High runners wrapped up their last regular season meets with some outstanding performances. Several runners tied or ran personal best times including, Holly Hoffmaster, Lizzy Kenner, Deanna McNece, Audrey Lloyd, , Chloe Beaulieu, Aiden thomas, Joden Reese, Megan Dennes, Alicia Foehlinger, Barry Sauder, Terry Bitner, Tanner Martin, Jon Martini, Tyler Grady and Joey Wakefield.
The boys finished their section record going 6-3, and the girls were 5-4 in the section. They wrap up their season Saturday vs all the teams in the league at the Iron Bridge Invite at LMH.

Cedar Crest Meet Results
Despite the challenges of running up to the water tower twice, the varsity teams stepped it up today. The boys had a full team today with the return of Zach Bunn. Michael lead the charge with another race under 19 minutes. Rory and Chris were close to their best this season, while Andrew Reed had a nice improvement from his first race last week.
The girls saw Jess return to the lead pack today with a 21:32 for 6th place. Jen ran a good time considering she had sprained her ankle during the race. Hannah worked hard while dealing with some fatigue. Anna Keener had another break through race, running only 3 seconds off District qualifying and dropping 1 minute from her season best.

It was a beautiful day to run the slightly longer than 2 mile course on the steep hills at Cedar Crest. The junior high runners were lead by Paul Markovits and Holly Hoffmaster. Several runners ran their personal bests including: Paul, Terry Bitner, Tanner Martin, Bryce Rinehart, Alex Baker, Lizzy Keener, Aiden Thomas, Mikeala Schell, Alexis Licopoli, Deanna McNece, and Joran Reese.
We are looking forward to running even better times on our HOME (flat) course next week.

Lebanon Results- at South Hills Park
Tuesday, 9/29/09 was a windy chilly night typical of autumn like weather. (ok, maybe a little too much wind). Both the HS and JH runners cut through the wind seeking their best times of the season.

For the HS boys michael Hiestand lead the way as the 1st Donegal runner. Andrew Reed ran his 1st race of the season. Running their best times of the season for the girls were Anna Kenner and Jess McDonald, in her 1st race of the season.
On the JH side times seemed to run 20-30 seconds slower than the course set up at the Annville Invite due to some slight changes. For the JH girls it didn't slow down Sydney Wareham who won her 1st individual race beating the girls from all teams. Running her best time of the year was Lizzy Kenner.
The boys pulled out a close one from Ephrata and ended up beating all 4 teams. They were led by Paul Markovits.

Great Results at the Carlisle HS Invite
We had a good showing at the Carlisle Invite with everyone running consistent times with their season performances. Chris Foehlinger ran a season best of 20:50. Michael and Rory ran solid with 19:07 and 19:42. On the girls side, Jen and Hannah ran close together like the boys with 23:13 and 23:42 respectively.

Annville JH Meet "Runs" Fast Times
Conditions were perfect for fast times this past Saturday at the Annville Jr High Meet at South Hills Park. "almost every runner ran a PR (Personal Record)," said Coach Koser. Medaling for the Indians were Sydney Wareham, Holly Hoffmaster, Tim Daly, Josh LeBoon, Paul Markovits, and Barry Sauder. The boys team placed 3rd of 9 teams and even beat Northern Lebanon by 1 point, a team that beat them earlier in the season.

Week 2: Warwick Meet
High School: Our 2nd meet of the season, on Warwick's new course due to construction, was a fair course with rolling terrain. The varsity teams did well against very strong competition. Michael and Jen lead the way with 20th and 25th places for our team. The girls had a tight pack with only 32 seconds between Jen, Hannah and Anna.

2009 Season kicks off at Etown!!
The season is off and running with week 1 in the books. The HS boys and girls were lead by runners were lead by individual outstanding accomplishments of Michael Hiestand and Jenn Ensminger. They and all their team mates ran extremely well to pace the team.

HS Team Building Trip to Flying Leap Low and High Ropes Course
The HS students had a blast climbing and swinging through the high ropes course at Ski Roudtop before school kicked off. Check the photos out below.
