2023 Results
Meet 1 at Solanco
The HS boys' and girls' teams both won their 1st two meets of the season vs Solanco and Manheim Central. The boys were lead by Micah Brydon's 2nd place overall finish and the girls were lead by Kathryn Fernald's 1st place finish. John Hinkle and Kendall Finicle were voted athletes of the meet for their performances as they picked off runners over the last half of the race. Abigail Reed lead the way for the JH girls as they started 2-0 start. The boys dropped the 2 meets and were lead by Julian Regan.

Big Spring Ben Bloser Invite
It was a great day for the Donegal Cross Country team at Big Bring's Ben Bloser Invite. The HS boys placed 17th out of 30+ teams in the AAA race. Micah Brydon led the way with 17:49 and the boys posted a 1-5 time of 1:27.
The
Girls team placed 2nd overall. They had 3 medalist, Molly Myers-9th, Kathryn Fernald-10th, and Abigail Ballard -13th.
The
JV girls were led by Olivia Herman and her 2nd place AA finish, and the whole girls JV team had 5 medal winners and won the AA JV rave. Kara Nissly-4th, Cassidy McClune-11th, Reagan Bechtold-14th, Gretchen Garber-21st.

Meet 2 at Home
The girls stayed undefeated and ran their record to 4-0 with wins over LS and Cocalico. Molly Myers finished first to lead the team. The boys lost to LS but beat Cocalico. They were lead by Micah Brydon's 3rd place overall finish.
Isaiah Omisakin lead the JH boys and Abby Reed lead the JH girls.

Meet 3 at Ephrata
Both the HS boys and girls continued to excel running their records to 5-1 and 6-0. Molly Myers ran her second sub 20 min. 5K in 19:42 to pace the girls. Many of the girls and boys ran either season best times or even personal best times. Micah Brydon paced the boys with a third place overall finish.
Isaiah Omisakin ran under 14 min to pace the boys team while Abby Reed finished 1st to pace the girls. Both the JH teams beat Garden Spot while falling to Ephrata.

Meet 4 at Home
The HS boys finished the season with a 5-2 record after a tough loss to Etown. Despite the heat today (mid 80s and humid) there were several great performances.
The girls' team wrapped up an undefeated season with a win vs Etown and claimed their 1st section championship since 2020.

LL League Championships
The boys team placed 15th at the 2023 LLL Championships. They were led by Micah Brydon's 39th place finish. He, Logan Stough, Carter Stough, and Kaiden Karpel all ran well enough to qualify for the AAA District CHampionships.
The girls' team placed 6th and were led by Molly Myers. Molly placed 7th and was joined by teammate Kathryn Fernald on the medal stand with a 22nd place finish. The girls' team was the first AA team and qualified for the District championships.
