Ephrata- It was a beautiful sunny day for the runners. A little on the warm side, but near the above 90's we dealt with last week. In the HS boys race, Zach Miller lead the boys with a time of 18:22 as the boys beat Northern Lebanon to start their section competition. They fell to Lancaster Mennonite, but they are extremely young and inexperienced so hopefully we can run them tougher by the end of the year.

The HS girls' team did start their section competition off 2-0, but also beat one of the top 5 teams in the league with a win vs. Ephrata. The Ephrata girls went out hard, but the Donegal runners were patient and slowly moved up in the race.Katelyn Diebler lead the girls with a time of 20:44.

At the JH level, both the boys and girls started the season 2-0 by beating LM and NL. The boys had 4 runners under 14 minutes and were lead by Aedan Wilkinson with a time of 12:43. The girls were lead by Megan Myers in 14:12.
