Twin Valley Invite- 4/16
Zack Nissley had an exceptional night at the Twin valley Invite. He won Javelin (155'9"), placed second in Shot (43'11"), and 5th in the Discus (130'1"). Owen Kling joined him for a Donegal Honor Top 10 performance in the Discus with a throw of 134'0", placing him 4th. Others placing in the top 5 were: the 4x800m relay team of Ashley Garcia, Kendall Finicle, Marleigh Ballard, and Emma Myers, Myra Naqvi was 5th in the in the 800m, Anna Brubaker placed 5th in the high Jump, Sarah Hinkel was 3rd in the Triple Jump and 6th in the 300m hurdles , Rachel Fernald was 6th in the 2mile, Faith Garber was 6th in the 200m, and Amanda Fry was 6th in the 800m.

Today was an absolutely incredible day of competition for our athletes. Not only was it our 1 st invite in two years, but it was warm, and the track was soft and fast. Zach Nissly led the team with a 1 st place finish in the javelin with a throw of 166’0”. He also placed 7 th in the Discus (130’5”) and 5 th in the Shot Put(46’ 4.5”, Donegal Honor Roll #8)
Others placing in the top 10 were: Myra Naqvi placed 4 th in the mile with a time of 5:26.58 (Donegal Honor Roll #7)10 th in the 800m (2:26.13). Owen Kling placed 7 th in the Shot (46’ 0”, Donegal Honor Roll #10) and was 8 th in the discus (126’4). Brock Overlander placed 8 th in the 1600 (4:37.11) and 9 th in the 2 mile (10:14.21). Sarah Hinkel placed 6 th in the 300m hurdles (51.14) and Rachel Fernald was 9 th in the 2 mile (12:45.0).
